What
might global warming mean to Western New York and the Earth’s biodiversity? Scientists
around the world studying the impact of humans upon the Earth’s ecosystems believe
that global climate change is already affecting plants and animals - from tiny
beetles and frogs, to corals and sea life, to giant polar bears and extensive
forests. Equipped with touch screen technology and audio, GLOBEO
will include a special focus on the impact upon the Great Lakes region, through
exhibit elements, enhanced programming and resource materials presented by a myriad
of local environmental organizations that are partnering with the museum.
