| The
Jewish Repertory Theatre is a professional theatre whose aim is to share our vibrant
Jewish culture with the broader WNY community by presenting plays that deal with
Jewish and multi-cultural themes and issues. We are motivated by a belief that
dramatic art offers a unique opportunity to diverse audiences to learn more about
Jewish values and customs. The
JRT is unique in the Buffalo theatre community. Our first season produced rave
reviews and sold-out houses and we were nominated for an ARTIE award for Best
Production.
Now
in our fourth season we are pleased to present Wendy Wasserstein's THE SISTERS
ROSENSWEIG, Donald Margulies' BROOKLYN BOY, and Jon Marans' Pulitzer Prize nominated
play, OLD WICKED SONGS.
