Morningstar
Mill _______________________________________________________________________ 2716
Decew Rd. St. Catharines, ON
 Built:
1872, Rebuilt 1895
After a fire in 1895 nearly destroyed it, Wilson Morningstar re-constructed the
mill that has been built by Robert Chappel in 1872. The Friends of the Morningstar
Mill conducted painstaking restorations to recreate a functional model of one
of the first milling operations powered by water turbine rather than the traditional
water wheel. This site will have demontrations.
