The Royal George Theatre is a 328-seat theatre that was built as a vaudeville
house to entertain the troops during World War I. One of the Shaw Festival theaters,
the Royal George Theatre is located on Queen Street in Niagara on the Lake. The
outside of the 328-seat theater does not even begin to hint at the luxurious atmosphere
found inside. The gilt moldings, red velvet and gold lions are the perfect backdrop
to the ultimate theatre-going experience. |
