One of the world's finest theatre companies, the Shaw Festival is an annual eight-month celebration of plays by George Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries; plays about the beginning of the modern world.

For forty five seasons, The Shaw has enjoyed tremendous critical and popular success. In 2006, the Shaw Festival presented 808 performances of 10 productions in its three theatres, to an international audience of over 295,000 people.
